Ibtisamatul Yateem orphan sponsorship scheme commenced in May 2014 with 2 orphans in collaboration with Nigerian Muslim forum UK (NMF-UK). The foundation sponsored the orphans on Full sponsorship both tuition and feeding inclusive at the sum £300 each per annum (£25 a month) paid to NMF-UK account.
As at September 2014, the foundation had 4-orphans on full sponsorship and 2-orphans on partial sponsorship scheme. This entails securing a sponsor to a designated family who have lost the head of the family. We currently sponsor an orphan at the rate of N120,000 per annum (N10,000) a month while the family sponsorship was pegged at N250,000 per annum both tuition and feeding inclusive.
With the help of Almighty Allah, the foundation has received an overwhelming support in form of donations and encouragement from people. Presently, we have 25 orphans across 5 states in Nigeria namely; Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Niger and Plateau state respectively. Alhamdulillah, the foundation also introduced family sponsorship, and a family of 5 has been assigned to 2 sponsors. The foundation also caters for a needy family in terms of tuition and feeding.

NEEDY SPONSORSHIP
The foundation also extends in helping a needy family. We pay for the tuition fee of (3) of the family members attending a school in Zaria as well as providing the family with food items.
